Tie into a dinosaur theme with a reptile party
Does your child adore dinosaurs? A reptile party might just be the way to go for the budding paleontologist. To a preschooler a large green iguana is the perfect stand in for a stegosaurus. A baby alligator has an armor made up of bony plates along its backbone just like many dinosaurs had. A 50 pound tortoise makes quite a prehistoric statement. Especially when it happily munches away on your lawn or flowers. Whoops! Most professional wildlife educators can tie their reptile program into a dinosaur unit or theme. Here at lizard wizard we spend our summers at various preschools and daycares and adapt our program to many themes: rainforest, wetlands, dinosaurs, and desert friends just to name a few.
Reptile Theme Party
Most parents know that interaction with animals is one of the best experiences a child can have. One on one interaction is so much more engaging than seeing an animal on a television screen or on the pages of a book. Dedicated wildlife educators can excite even the youngest naturalist. Most reptile parties are presented in a nurturing hands-on format, and will foster a desire to learn more about wildlife and the planet we share. Come touch the scales on a python, tickle the feet of a giant millipede, tap the shell of a tortoise or just enjoy these extraordinary creatures with your eyes.
