To provide an outreach life science program suitable for every young naturalist. We hope to make the magic and the plight of our cold blooded ambassadors clear to our young audience. We help children look closely and uncover the incredible variety, the beauty and the extraordinary lives of reptiles, amphibians and arthropods.

What We Do:
We incorporate national science standards as well as a range of other disciplines into our age/ grade level, interactive programs.
We have been guest speakers for: California Kindergarten Conference, California Head Start Association, California Science Teachers Association, CREEC, the National Montessori Association, ACSI, Easter Seals and The Orange County Performing Arts Center.

Often imitated, but never quite equaled, the Lizard Wizard provides a safe, nurturing, hands- on journey into the fascinating world of reptiles,amphibians and more.
We are staffed by family members only! Started in the late 1980's by Theresa Minko, a preschool owner/director, also an amateur herpetologist, brought her water dragon, rosy boa and box tortoise to school one day to share with her young friends. The rest is history...
